Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State has just announced his withdrawal from the presidential race of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and thrown his weight behind the candidature of former vice president Atiku Abubakar.
He urged his supporters to take his decision in good faith.
In his reaction, Atiku Abubakar expressed his appreciation to Tambuwal.
“Thank you, H.E Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, for your spirited campaign. I look forward to working with you as we unite our party and our country,” Atiku took to his official Facebook to say.
