Reports from Alagbaka, the official residence of governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State indicate that the matriarch of the Akeredolu family, Lady Evangelist Grace Akeredolu died early this morning in her sleep.
She was 90 years old.
According to a statement issued this morning by Richard Olatunde, chief press secretary to the governor, Madam Akeredolu was “survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other family members”.
He said the Akeredolu family will make further announcements in due course.
