Tragedy struck on Sunday evening when a three storey building collapsed at 62, Odo Street in Obalende area of Lagos Island.
Not fewer that seven lives were lost while another eight sustained various degrees of injury.
Rescue workers were still battling to dig out survivors from the rubble of the collapsed building.
