The two major gladiators in the crisis rocking the University of Lagos, Wale Babalakin, Chairman of the Governing Council; and Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, the dismissed Vice-Chancellor of the school have been directed to recuse themselves from official duties, pending the outcome of the Special Visitation panel set up by President Buhari who is the Visitor to the university.
This new development was announced in a press statement signed by the spokesman for the Federal Ministry of Education, Ben Goong.
